Welcome to Stop It Now!® Minnesota's online information and resources, here to help adults like you prevent the sexual abuse of children before a child is harmed and before an adult, youth, or child acts in a sexually inappropriate way toward a child.
Research and our own experience shows that child sexual abuse is not inevitable. It's preventable. We are ready to help with confidential information and referrals. People who get specialized help can and do learn to control their behavior and prevent children from being harmed.
This web site has information and resources for anyone with any concerns about their own or someone else's behavior towards children, including: adults who are having sexual thoughts towards children, or have sexually abused a child ; parents concerned about their child's sexual behavior; parents concerned about someone's behavior towards their child; and adults who care about someone whose sexual behavior concerns them. You'll also find resources for people who work with children and families to help them and the families they work with recognize and respond to inappropriate sexual behaviors and keep kids safe.
