Stop It Now! is a national, public health based organization
working to prevent child sexual abuse. They educate adults including
people at risk for abusing and their families and friends about
the ways to prevent child sexual abuse and promote the policy
changes at the local and national level to support prevention
strategies.
Stop It Now! Helpline is a toll-free number for adults
who are at risk for sexually abusing a child, for friends and
family members of sexual abusers and/or victims, and for parents
of children with sexual behavior problems. This helpline service
is confidential, available Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM
(EST) at 1-888-PREVENT (1-888-773-8368).

ATSA provides referrals for affiliated sex offender treatment
providers throughout the United States. ATSA is a professional
membership association for clinicians working with and treating
sexual abusers. Their focus is on the prevention of sexual abuse
through effective management of sex offenders. It was founded
to foster research, facilitate information exchange, further
professional education, and provide advancement of professional

CSOM's goal is to enhance public safety by
preventing further victimization through improving management
of adult and juvenile sex offenders who are in the community.
CSOM provides ready access to most of the current knowledge
and effective practices in the field of sex offender supervision;
these materials are useful for the individuals and agencies
responsible for managing sex offenders as well as the general
public.

Gen 5 programs provide leadership training to communities and
foster national strategy and information exchange on child sexual
abuse. Gen 5 is not a direct service organization; rather, they
work in collaboration with service providers to ensure that
affordable, culturally relevant support is available to survivors,
offenders and affected families.

The JWF is a non-profit organization that has worked to find
missing children and educate children, teens, parents, caregivers
and teachers about personal safety. JWF fights for stronger
laws to protect children from sexual exploitation and takes
a close look at repeat sex offenders and how they are managed
in Minnesota and nationwide.

NCVC's Department of Public Policy maintains a database which
includes a state-by-state breakdown of crime related statues.
For example this database can be used to access such information
as the statue of limitations on child sexual abuse or the legal
age of consent among many others.

in 38 states, which work to increase public awareness, advocate
